Plant Sizing Defaults

The Defaults Manager: Plant Sizing panel contains controls used to to include or exclude certain heat gains from the calculations when plant sizing simulations are conducted. These defaults are used when starting new projects.

Tip: When plant sizing simulations are carried out, you can choose to include or exclude certain heat gains from the calculations as required.

Setting	Description
Exclude from summer design day	Check any of the available gains you want to exclude when plant sizing for a summer design day. Occupancy gains Lighting gains Casual gains Additional gains Window and roof vent openings
Exclude from winter design day	Check any of the available gains you want to exclude when plant sizing for a winter design day. Occupancy gains Lighting gains Casual gains Additional gains Window and roof vent openings
